The 8th Annual TD Canada Trust Irie Music Festival will make waves again this summer when the popular reggae and global music attraction returns to Nathan Phillips Square, and Queen's Park North. Taste of The Tropics, a culinary extravaganza showcasing food from the tropical regions around the world, will take place at Queen's Park North on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The IRIE Reggae Boat Cruise takes place on July 30th and is our newest addition to this great festival. The five-day IRIE extravaganza featuring music, food and culture at two downtown locations will take place from July 31st through August 3rd, 2009.
Created as a unifying symbol of Toronto's diversity, the TD Canada Trust Irie Music Festival is an opportunity to promote a greater understanding between the diverse cultures and traditions of our world-class city. The Festival encompasses a wide variety of activities including:
