"Love King" The Dream's Last Album

The Dream has announced that his third studio album, Love King , will be his last. The popular singer/songwriter/producer stated that he will, however, continue to write and help produce music for other artist. Also, he will be feature on other songs. On top of this he is also working with MTV to have a reality show focused on finding aspiring singers, along with developing his clothing line, Millionaire Love Affair . So just because his solo career is over, I am sure we will still be hearing from The Dream.

Irie Music Festival

The 8th Annual TD Canada Trust Irie Music Festival will make waves again this summer when the popular reggae and global music attraction returns to Nathan Phillips Square, and Queen's Park North. Taste of The Tropics, a culinary extravaganza showcasing food from the tropical regions around the world, will take place at Queen's Park North on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The IRIE Reggae Boat Cruise takes place on July 30th and is our newest addition to this great festival. The five-day IRIE extravaganza featuring music, food and culture at two downtown locations will take place from July 31st through August 3rd, 2009.
Created as a unifying symbol of Toronto's diversity, the TD Canada Trust Irie Music Festival is an opportunity to promote a greater understanding between the diverse cultures and traditions of our world-class city. The Festival encompasses a wide variety of activities including:

N.E.R.D. stands for "No One Ever Really Dies," but childhood friends Chad Hugo, Pharrell Williams , and Shay most certainly used the group to proudly emphasize the nerdier aspects of their musical personalities. Before this side project took shape, Chad and Pharrell as the Neptunes had established themselves as giants in the field of pop production, whether they were working with hardcore rappers, smooth crooners, or teen pop groups. Although their faces were known to many due to this notability, N.E.R.D. allowed the duo to take center stage, as rock stars, even if a new alias was being used.
